We are pleased to announce that Langham Homes has exchanged on the purchase of Phase II at Wheeler Street Nursery, Witley. The site is in the picturesque village of Witley, just a couple of miles from the town of Godalming. The location is well served for transport links with Milford Station only a mile away and the A3 less than 2 miles.
Phase I of the development was completed in 2021 and marketed as Foxglove Meadows, delivering 18 two-, three- and four-bedroom homes, including 5 affordable units.
Phase II of the site has detailed planning consent for 17 dwellings, comprising 6 two-bedroom, 4 three-bedroom and 2 four-bedroom houses. The homes themselves are designed to reflect the local area’s strong, traditional village character, with open spaces and extensive landscaping to enhance the visual appeal. In addition to the homes for private sale, there are 3 one-bedroom apartments, 1 two-bedroom apartment and 1 two-bedroom house made available for affordable housing, 3 of which are for rent and 2 for the new Government scheme, First Homes. Langham Homes are expected to begin on-site in July 2023.
Tony K. Pidgley, Managing Director of Langham Homes, says: “Our first phase, Foxglove Meadows was a very successful and enjoyable project for us, and we are incredibly proud of the finished development. Phase II will incorporate extensive environmental and ecological features to deliver on the sustainable residential development concept, including a recreation area.”
